Rathlin Island sits just off the north coast of Northern Ireland and is home to a small community of around one hundred people. When the wind raises uncrossable waves the island can sometimes become trapped geographically. Prepared for any storm, residents of the island often fasten down their property, hoping that their belongings will survive the battering elements.
