Beginning in late 2020, I made use of the integrity and spontaneity of the polaroid camera, documenting moments and feelings in time. With a focus on personal experience, I captured the moments in which the absence of my girlfriend is felt most.
At times, occurring a couple in a day, others three times in a week. Her absence is presented in early mornings, cold evenings and in lonely cups of coffee.
'The Presence of Absence' is part one of a three-part project titled 'Non-Apperance', also featuring soft sculpture works & a print series.
