Hello! My name is Alex and I am a graphic and digital design graduate. This work is special to me as it pushed my boundaries in design. This piece combines my passion for design with my personal interest in horror creating a unique way to tell a story. The Flannan Isle Mystery focuses on the disappearance of three lighthouse keepers in the 1900s. To portray this time period through art, I used traditional print and hand-made drawings. What makes this book different is its unconventional binding. My favourite element however is the expressive and emotional typography that tells the story of the three lost men.
