The Walking Down Memory Lane series reflects on a personal journey inspired by our ancestors. We uncover our heritage, identity, past, and memory. The work focuses on identity, Romania's cultural heritage, and preserving the past through making. It Emphasises the relationship between the individual and their heritage as our behaviour and identity form based on the place where we were born and grew up. The process of keeping the memories of the self and homeland alive can be encapsulated in the term "remembrance." It plays an important role in making progress. The work has a strong foundation in printmaking that combines the past and present, as demonstrated by the procedures used in making the body of work: a mix of traditional and modern techniques, such as embroidery, etchings, and laser printing.
