My work focuses on old decrepit structures, in particular an abandoned derelict hat factory in the west of Ireland. I am interested in investigating its forgotten history.
The work depicts a connection to isolation, abandonment & devastation of war both historically and currently. Exploring this transitional factory through various mediums, a place of metamorphosis & wonder for the future. Can it once again provide for those seeking safe refuge today?
