My childhood memories are the inspiration for this body of work. Through paint I express my visceral affection for the outdoor clothesline and the seasonal planting and harvesting in the domestic garden, the backdrop to growing up. Ordered rows and furrows, the spacing of seed, roots, the colour of vegetables green and orange are in my paintings today.
