My work is concerned with the idea of Borders. The watchtower became a defining image and symbol of restriction, violence and a lack of freedom. The intricate framework of the watchtower has become a metaphor to explore the idea of boundary, frontier, partition and the dividing line. The repetition of the black line that
is seen throughout my work reflects on how a simple line can create so much.
