I am inspired by the power of storytelling and interactivity in games, especially how they can shape emotions, challenge players, and create memorable experiences. My work focuses on designing engaging game mechanics that support narrative and player agency. I use Unity and C# to build systems that feel intuitive but layered, encouraging exploration and strategic thinking. In my current game, Legend of the Hero Slime, I explore themes of transformation, perseverance, and identity. The player takes on the role of a small slime who absorbs enemy abilities to grow stronger—turning the idea of weakness into a strength. My design blends grid-based movement, puzzle-solving, and action combat in a toy-like world with bold, stylized visuals. I am particularly interested in how mechanics and environment design can subtly guide players and convey meaning without relying heavily on dialogue. I also focus on creating boss fights that are not just tests of skill, but also storytelling moments through unique mechanics and enemy design. This project reflects my growth as a solo developer and my passion for games that are both fun to play and rich with underlying ideas.
