My studio work forms a study of the human condition and the formation of my perception of place. This is done through an exploration of the self in a specific landscape; the Connemara area in the West of Ireland. The work describes encounters with the substances in the world around us; events that are not veiled by science, but informed by it through semantics and definitive points in time.
