Skin demarcates the boundary to our physical selves. Membranes within skin divide and interlink interior and an exterior. The work focuses on ideas of comfort and discomfort within one’s own skin, delving into the everyday anxieties of the body, and disruptions of skin as a surface. Both soft and harsh layers are created by glazes of oil paint and mono-printing personal clothes.
