For my final project in IADT I choose to make a life size silicone elf toddler which I named "Elfling". This was a challenging piece of work as I have never worked in Silicone.
I have always loved fantasy and thoroughly enjoyed sculpting this humanoid elf toddler, I also incorporated a breathing mechanism to give the effect of a natural breathing rhythm as the Elfling sleeps in his bed. I created this bed using an old trundle and drawers. I painted an decorated the bed to give an old world look.
The white hair I used is from an angora goat and was hair punched individually.
I put this piece under the Design category as, It is a prop that could be used in the film industry.
