My name is Hannah, and I am a 2D animator and 2D artist! My work is character-focused, taking inspiration from those around me. I use personal anecdotes, as well as those of others, to create relatable characters and stories. I aim to make viewers feel seen through their awkward moments, through their sorrows and through their joy as well. To effectively portray these stories, I take great interest in tying in psychology to accurately discuss themes of identity and introspection. When producing my work, I combine the powers of pen and paper, an iPad, and a computer with a drawing tablet to go from ideation to animation. The concept development, however, is my favourite, taking every opportunity to experiment with the textures and palette that will make the final outcome shine. My graduate film was on display in the Church Gallery of the Limerick School of Art & Design as part of the annual Graduate Showcase, 2025.
