My paintings deal with architecture and emphasize psychological aspects. The paintings areabout the emotional and psychological impacts of different environments. My painting practice focuses on capturing the architectural structures of cities that I have visited.I use a variety of methods including paintings, sketches and photographs as well as my ownmemory to create compositions. This multi-faceted approach allows me to integrate differentcomponents and create a comprehensive view of the city.My work, whether abstract or representational, two-dimensional or free-form, aims to transportthe viewer to different locations, allowing them to experience the scent of the air, the vibrancy ofcolours, and the energy or calm of various cities.I aim to capture the visionary possibilities of acity, evoking emotions that are deeply personal to me. My art expresses the transformative powerof urban isolation and the imaginative potential that exists in it. It is my passion for travel andadventure that ignites my spiritual and aesthetic inspiration that pushes me to represent the worldbetter through my artwork. My primary sources of inspiration are urban city settings. There is asubdued human presence in my artwork. I hope to evoke a sense of nostalgia in the viewer, inviting them to see the world through a new lens. It's a constant effort to capture its architectural moods, mysteries, and unique character thatidentifies each location. As I experience my surroundings, I want to portray on canvas a visualimpression of light and colour and evoke an emotion. By presenting my art as an immersivespace this illuminates the chemistry between the artworks more acutely. I want the artwork totransform the environment around it. Many different art movements have inspired me, fromFrench Impressionism to 1950's German expressionism. Geometric elements in my paintings areinfluenced by Italian futurism. The colours I choose not only express the depth of light in a placebut also establish its rhythm. Light being tangibly felt. The marks reflect an ongoingness of timeand location.
