I usually work with blocks of black brush pen, Blackwing pencil, and ballpoint pen. I keep a small sketchbook with me and draw in it whenever I feel inspired. I often work from emotion when I draw, so my pieces are usually the result of a deep feeling I have going on at the time. I love working within a square. As restrictive as this sounds, it really helps me to hyperfocus and condense whatever wild image I have in my head onto paper.I have two original characters which I created in 2019, Bleek and Botan. Bleek resembles a black, blobby, humanoid thing whilst Botan resembles a dog. They are subject to the mass majority of the situations I draw. I think having original characters are terrific vices for expressing yourself through art.
