My work considers the human hand as technology & the entropy of our modern digital experience. Paralleling the revelations of ethnomathematician Paulus Gerdes’ research alongside cross-cultural practical faculties I have appropriated the hidden geometric form within an ancient woven button. I seek to confront eurocentrism by baring the innate tactile aptitude embedded in indigenous cultures.
