I am interested in architecture that is innovative, contextual and contemporary. I also admire work that has a social purpose. This thesis project is a response to the proposed redevelopment of the Abbey - Ireland’s National Theatre. I tried to retain the underlying pattern and rhythm of existing city fabric while at the same time, capturing the energy and vibrancy of theatre to enliven the area.
