I try to challenge perceptions of our environment and how we interact with it.
I paint the places I see every day, there is always something there to inspire me. I am surrounded by the mountains and the sea. My paintings are often a response to these landscapes and coastline and they are evolved from memories and drawings.
My practice is largely intuitive, I am very interested in nature's evolving moments and the symmetry and simplicity of it all.
I use paste, oil paint and epoxy resin to make an image creating layers of texture, colour and history.
