I make marks that aren't pre-meditated, overly detailed or an attempt to capture reality as there is no intended narrative or context. I develop paintings that speak only in the realm of painting. The canvas is a landscape for how the mind works visually. They are paintings that become imagined landscapes existing subconsciously and retrieved when abstractly using my mind and hand together.
