My practice is anchored in a deep sensitivity to the human impulse toward connection—both with one another and with the natural world. This process begins in the landscape, where I gather impressions by attuning myself to subtle shifts in light, form, and sound. These quiet, attentive moments become the emotional ground from which my paintings emerge. In the studio, I translate these experiences into immersive oil paintings that depict rich, layered landscapes where figure and environment merge. Green floods my work, echoing the lush environments that inspire it. These paintings offer a kind of refuge from the chaos of the world, evoking spaces that feel both wild and intimate.
