This work seeks to explore the physical and psychological experience of a subject who has had Lyme disease. Through managing the subject’s body and its relationship to the spectator in these images, I am recreating the imbalance in the power relationships experienced by ill and stigmatised patients with Lyme disease as well as the phenomenological experience of being objectified.
