These paintings depict scenes, figures and text; appropriated, staged and fabricated, which form stills from unwritten narratives. Inspired by a love of binge-watching documentaries in quick succession, I am left with vague impressions of half-remembered scenes, blending together in recollection. My paintings are ambiguous snapshots of narratives that never happened.
