'Fiadh' is a collection of fine jewellery inspired by Irish animals. This collection focuses on hand carved wax pieces, casted into silver with stone set eyes, along with casted twigs. My main aim with this project was to design a new style of Irish jewellery, which is not linked to the old traditional Celtic designs currently available. I believe there is an opening for Irish language, wildlife and nature to be incorporated into, and represent Irish jewellery design. I specifically chose wild animals with Irish names, which directly translated into English, says something unusual.
