Work is semi-abstract, powerful, atmospheric, and deeply personal. Layers of paint, charcoal and ink are worked and scraped and scrubbed, giving highly textured surfaces. Palette is subdued and earthy. Inspiration comes from nature, childhood memories and the Burren landscape.
