My practice is based on the active observation of the everyday, focusing on the complexities and wonder of everyday existence. Through colour, gesture and form, I try to communicate what it is to live in an impermanent body within an inherently uncertain environment. The works are made through a combination of writing, drawing,and painting and draw upon personal observations, poetry and film.
