My concept, on memories shaping one’s identity, has been a huge topic of philosophical debate. The Lockean memory theory of personal identity dates back to 1690, where Lockean proposes "one's personal identity extends only as far as their own consciousness." I want to harness this theory and apply it to my Grandfather who passed away.
