Transmogrify: to change in appearance or form, especially strangely or grotesquely; transform.
This form of transformation is the theme of my work, which is an exploration of identity, mutilation then re-construction. The images are painted and then transformed through the processes of ripping, cutting, stuffing with material and collage. Their intention is to evoke an sense of dis-figuration.
