This project revolves around a personal connection to the past, culture and immigration. As a first-generation immigrant, I hope to uncover the complex emotions and feelings that come with being in a different country, far away from the motherland. With elements of mixed media, including found objects, wires and ceramics, this artwork hopes to convey the emotions that arise from never being able to fully integrate two cultures.
