My work explores the relationship between photography and theatricality and the transformations of self and of the everyday that occur in performance through the alchemy of light, space, body. The work engages with themes of childhood and with the figure of the solitary child deliberately staged in spaces of possibility which are at once actual, constructs of memory, and allegorical.
