I am driven by an obsessive fascination with communication, which I believe forms the foundation of all human connections, whether they are conscious and verbal or unconscious and physical. My work is centered around dissecting this intricate communication machine. It's a psychoanalytic journey that seeks to decipher the hidden messages that shape our narrative selfhood. With a contemporary approach to storytelling and personal history, I embark on an autoethnographic exploration of the non-linear, bridging the remembered with the present and connecting across different dimensions of time.It is with autoethnographic intention that the intricate threads that shape our sense of self become unraveled. By delving into personal histories and engaging in a dialogical practice, I uncover the layers that compose our individual and collective identities. Mixtapes serve as a powerful tool, transcending language barriers and forging connections through the universal language of music. These carefully curated compilations embody vessels for personal narratives, allowing viewers to immerse themselves in the stories and emotions held within a both sonic and visual landscape. Active engagement with the community deepens my work, inviting individuals to share their own aspects of this language and contribute to the ongoing conversation. This inclusive approach fosters a sense of belonging and deepens the diverse ways in which music shapes communication and identity. Through my work, I strive to create a space for self-expression, connection, and collective solidarity, where personal narratives intertwine to form a rich tapestry of human experiences.
