I am a Polish cinematographer seeking to elevate the ordinary through images that breathe, move, and feel. My work is marked by a deep sensitivity to mood and emotional texture, where bold composition meets quiet nuance. At the core of my creative process are curiosity, empathy, and a devotion to storytelling that is both intimate and universal.I carry the influence of artists like Mary Ellen Mark, Agnès Varda, and Krzysztof Kieślowski—whose work continues to shape my gaze and deepen my commitment to human stories.Tymek is a film that lives closest to my heart. Co-written and shot by me, it tells the story of a young Polish boy adrift in a strange new world after moving to Ireland with his father. Before grabbing the camera, I had already previsualised the film in my mind—every detail, every breath of light. My role as cinematographer was to bring that inner world of Tymek to life, allowing the viewer to feel what Tymek feels: disoriented, hopeful, searching. It is in that emotional space between belonging and alienation that "Tymek" finds his soul.
