The main exhibition of the Boyle Arts Festival takes place at the King House and highlights the strength of the visual arts in the region and across Ireland. Curated by Sarah Searson and Laura Mahon, and selected by Sinéad Ní Mhaonaigh, the exhibition is centred on the theme of ‘connections’, and features almost 100 artists, predominantly working in painting. The festival’s visual-arts strand also includes artist talks, film screenings, exhibitions and an art trail.
