The FE McWilliam Gallery, Banbridge presents a major survey exhibition of the work of Belfast-based painter Clement McAleer. The Irish landscape and coastline are constants in the artist’s oeuvre. McAleer’s travels in Europe and America have also inspired him, and the exhibition includes a series of railway paintings from Italy, Germany and the Netherlands. Recent works reminiscent of Renaissance altarpieces are also on show.
