My work revolves around the cycles of birth, growth, and decay. The body of work is a replication of microscopic visuals that portray the often-invisible experiences of pain, illness, and loss. Using charcoal, ink, and chalk, I create raw, tactile images that reveal the hidden realities of mortality and the erosion of the body over time. What began as a personal response to grief has evolved into a broader exploration of the human condition. Viewers are not expected to recognise specific organs or be able to distinguish between healthy and diseased. Instead, the emphasis lies in having the space to reflect on what it means to inhabit a body that can heal, break down, endure, and remember.
