My name is Ivanna Drik, and I’m the director of "Left Unsaid", a coming-of-age short film and my final project as a film student. It’s the most ambitious and complex work I’ve done so far, shaped by the dedication and talent of a passionate crew, whose attention to detail is present in every frame. "Left Unsaid" is a teen drama that explores that liminal space between childhood and adulthood - when decisions start to carry real weight, but it’s still hard to understand what should be said or done, and what’s better left unsaid. It’s a story about vulnerability, uncertainty, and how difficult it can be to make adult choices at an age when nothing feels right. Whether it makes you relieved to have left those years behind, or gives you some comfort if you’re still in them, I hope it resonates on a personal level. Although this is my third short film, it’s the first time I truly felt what it means to direct on a larger production scale. This project deepened my understanding of collaboration, leadership, and vision and made me fall even more in love with directing. "Left Unsaid" marks not just the end of my studies, but the beginning of a clearer artistic path ahead.
