My practice is an ongoing collaboration with my environment, shaped by the natural materials I forage, the changing seasons and the stories carried by the landscape. Working primarily with hand weaving, I combine this ancient craft with contemporary design to create textiles that feel rooted and alive. Ireland’s language and cultural heritage are central to my inspiration. The Ogham alphabet, Irish landscapes, nature and the layered histories of place guide both my process and my aesthetic choices. Using natural fibres and organic dyes sourced locally, I aim to make work that speaks to the living connection between land, language and craft. Through each piece, I explore the conversation between tradition and innovation, past and present, allowing viewers to see making not only as an act of creation, but as a way of belonging and remembering.
