‘Maiden. Mother. Saint’ by Natalie Wood Folan at the Rathcroghan Visitor Centre reimagines the fi gure of Brigid across overlapping identities as goddess, Iron Age woman and saint, situating her as a fi gure of continuity and transformation. Through large-scale painted panels and a hand-carved idol referencing Iron Age ritual objects, Folan explores how one woman can represent both divine and historical dimensions.
