At Uillinn: West Cork Arts Centre, Skibbereen, Sample-Studios members Barbara Diener, Sophie Gough, Sarah Long and Áine Ryan exhibit in ‘Persistence of Trace’, a show with the theme of identity. Diener’s practice investigates how historical facts are distorted and embellished; Gough explores identity as relational and in flux; Long focuses on suppressed female archetypes; and Ryan explores the relationship between body, identity and environment.
