My work explores the creative potential of upcycling by transforming materials that have been declared as waste into unique, high-quality designs. I aim to return these materials to the lifecycle while revealing their hidden value and beauty. Working with reclaimed materials is a process of experimentation, where each material inspires new techniques, silhouettes, and design possibilities. I want to challenge the perception that upcycling is simply a DIY approach or that recycled materials must look recycled. Instead, I show that upcycled design can be refined, luxurious, and distinctive. For me, upcycling is more than a sustainable practice, it is an exciting design method that sparks curiosity and unlocks endless creative potential.
