I am a Textile artist and my multidisciplinary practice spans ceramics, textiles, performance, video and installation. Inspired by traditional Lithuanian textiles, this year I have worked with ceramics, eco printing, weaving, and costume making. Ancient patterns as heirloom of the motherland feature in the woven bands. Family and Ancestral connections are at the heart of this. Embracing the Natural world around me I explore a path towards regaining myself. I created a ritual which includes four classical elements- water, fire, air and earth. Ceramic masks allowed me to bring the elements into creative interplay. My chosen theme of Sacred Feminine is activated through song, movement, music and connection with Nature.
