I am an artist and mother living and working on a West Cork island. My practice spans film, sculpture, installation, sound, and performance, emerging through an ongoing enquiry into the body, mythology, and the more-than-human world. Living within an island landscape has cultivated a sensitivity to tides, weather, duration, and the quiet forces that shape both place and self.Influenced by experimental cinema, radical performance, and endurance-based practices, I am interested in performance as a form of sustained attention rather than spectacle. My work often inhabits spaces between ritual and gesture, exploring vulnerability, repetition, and the body as both material and site of enquiry. Artists such as Jane Arden continue to inform my approach to psychological and embodied image-making.Across my practice, I seek to dissolve the boundaries between human and non-human, landscape and body, myth and lived experience. Making becomes less a search for answers than a way of remaining with uncertainty, allowing philosophical questions of belonging, identity, and consciousness to unfold through material, moving image, and sound. I am drawn to works that resist resolution, inviting viewers into spaces where tenderness, instinct, and transformation exist in quiet dialogue.
