‘Carrying the Songs’ at the Hamilton Gallery features artworks by Irish and international artists inspired by the poem of the same name by Moya Cannon. It explores themes of migration, memory, resilience and cultural identity through art and reflects on the shared human experiences of displacement, remembrance and continuity. Artists include Dave Madigan, Rachel Martin, Mary St Leger, Shauna McCann, Tony Gunning, Niamh Flanagan, Pauline Conroy and Finn Conlon.
