‘Picturing the Border’ at the Highlanes Gallery, Drogheda focuses on representations of the Irish border in painting, print, photography, film and popular culture, as well as objects and ephemera. By reflecting on how artists have reacted to the border since 1922, the exhibition seeks to move away from stereotypical and cliché depictions of the region. Artists include Array Collective, John Byrne, Megan Doherty, Ciarán Dunbar, Ruth Gonsalves Moore, Anthony Haughey, Jeremy Henderson, Locky Morris, Kate Nolan, Dermot Seymour and Constance Shortt.
