The Gallery in Limerick is staging a special plein air event outside its premises at 13 Bedford Row – weather, of course, permitting. The Gallery is run by mother/son team Sadhbh and Eoghan Lyons. The premises is situated on the site of a Methodist Church (Central Hall) dating from the 1830s.
The historic façade of the building has been restored to enhance the art venue’s unique ambience. The Gallery exhibits original art, photography, creative glass and ceramics from over 60 local artists from the greater Limerick area. These include Anne Fitzgerald, Geraldine Sadlier, Paul Weerasekera, Kate Hennessy, Myra O’Reilly, Marie Loftus, Claire Jordan, Sue Corcoran and Paddy Richardson and many others.
