A defining characteristic of the Hunt Collection is its variety. John and Gertrude Hunt not only collected copiously, but also over an incredible range. All good collections, no matter how varied they may be, reflect the personality of those who created them and the Hunt Collection is no exception. They were first and foremost open-minded in their taste and had an interest in both traditional art forms as well as the newer and emerging forms of artistic expression
