The MAC presents an exhibition of work by William McKeown (1962–2011), whose paintings, drawings, prints and installations capture the life-enhancing power of nature. McKeown’s paintings often appear at first to exemplify Objective Minimalism, yet they offered more. With titles such as Hope and Freedom, the artist depicted nature as real, tangible and infinite.
