The ArtisAnn Gallery has two new exhibitions scheduled for January and February. Beginning with ‘My Name is Pronounced AI M-EE’, the gallery will host work by a trio of young artists: Aimee Melaugh, Aimée Nelson and Amy Higgins. All are recent graduates and work in a range of styles and across different contemporary issues. The gallery will then present a retrospective of work by Sam McCready, who, despite being better known as an actor and director, was also an accomplished painter. Early in his life, McCready studied with Kenneth Webb and Romeo Toogood at the Belfast College of Art. The exhibition will showcase work from these formative years through to his mature works.
