Spanning all three of the MAC’s galleries, Mark Garry’s ‘Songs and the Soil’ comprises a series of installations and individual works engaging with the related subjects of landscape and music or sound, looking at each element from historical, social and cultural perspectives. The exhibition also includes a new film work, An Lucht Siúil (The Walking People), which explores the relationship between Irish Travellers and Modernism.
