The Lavit Gallery presents ‘City Paintings’, a body of new work by Patricia Burns. Exploring the city where she lives and works, Cork, Burns has produced a series of paintings concentrating on ‘home’, composed of winter light, roof-tops, chimneys and a criss-cross of overhead wires, all capturing a sense of walking in the city on a chill winter evening. Burns is a graduate of DIT and the Crawford College of Art and Design.
