‘The Art of the Great Book of Ireland’ exhibition should prove a big draw for the Lewis Glucksman Gallery at University College Cork. Developed in collaboration with IMMA, this exhibition showcases The Great Book of Ireland/Leabhar Mór na hÉireann. The Great Book was published in 1991 and acquired by UCC last year. It captures a significant moment in Ireland’s cultural production, with works by artists, writers and composers. Contributors include Robert Ballagh, Cecily Brennan, Barrie Cooke, Micheal Farrell, Eithne Jordan, Louis le Brocquy, Tony O’Malley and Kathy Prendergast, Samuel Beckett and Seamus Heaney.
