The Flowerfield Arts Centre, Portstewart presents the work of Stuart Quigley, a Derry-based landscape artist. Inspired by the landscapes of Cumbria, the Isle of Skye and the northern coast of Ireland, Quigley’s work explores light, colour and form and how they can be layered over time. ‘The conditions of light alter what we see and how we see it,’ says the artist. ‘What is painted is an eventual interpretation, a distillation of a set of experiences.’
